Docking Parish Council

Docking Parish Council serves the local community with the help of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, together with Norfolk County Council.

We report and oversee that the village highways and public areas are maintained. We provide and maintain seats and litter bins, bus shelters and street lighting in the village.

I live opposite the Spar shop at Bly Cottage. People frequently park across my drive. At Docking Parish Council’s behest new white diagonal lines were painted last year. Yet there have been frequent abuses of your stricture on parking including an episode where Limagrain’s tractor could not get into their site for 15 minutes due to someone parking across my drive. What can be done about this?
A second issue is speeding along Station Road. Can you put a speed measuring device at the Forge and another in the vicinity of North Farm. Too many speed through parked cars on either side of Station Road.
